Additional Posts in Consulting Exit Opportunities
Hey, I have 4 YOE and currently a manager at PwC and have been managing teams for a little over a year now. My role mainly consists of leading teams of engineers deliver MVPs to our clients.
If I wanted to exit to Google or Facebook (Meta) what role would align for me? I was looking at engineering manager roles but unsure if that’s too senior for me.

Thanks, any other insights?
What location? Personal experience I used to work at JP Morgan eight years ago in their Delaware and later New York locations. I will tell you the work life balance, and culture are very different between the two. Delaware you had to look for work and make your work last, but New York work life balance was a joke. There was no life part. It was just work. I can’t speak on the IT side, but I will tell you I would frequently work late nights in New York. Sometimes even past midnight and would have to take the town car home Delaware on the other hand I would take frequent water breaks with my work colleagues where we would go for a long walks around the building we will leave on time at 5 o’clock even had an option of working from 7 AM to 4 PM. Unfortunately there was not much to do in Delaware with all this free time New York there’s so much to do but no free time. what’s funny is people would say how going in the big four is a lot more hours but I’ve worked a lot of hours here and I will tell you I still prefer the big four over working at the JP Morgan in New York from a work life balance perspective.
Wow thank you for the perspective. It would be in NYC. For JPM it would be tech program Management
