I am currently doing IVF. I am also interviewing next week for a tech company in NYC. It’s a job I’m very excited about and praying that it works out as it seems perfect for me. my question is what happened if you get pregnant soon after starting a job or while interviewing? I’m reading that the company is under no obligation to give you any of the parental leave benefits until 1 year. The company I am interviewing with gives 20 weeks! I’ve been with current company for 4+ years. Any advice?

I had interviewed with PwC India for Business Analyst role at Pune location, my both Manager round and Client round went well. However I have still not received any call/ offer from HR. I did call the HR she told me that they have not heard back from the Client.
Any idea how much time does the HR can take if they want to give offer.
My last working day is on this Friday and will have to join other company on Monday if dnt received offer from PwC. Please guide me.

Last tech + managerial round was on 10th Nov. Got HR call on 17th Nov. Told my expected package and she didn't seem to have any issue. On 22nd Nov, got a call from the consultant at taggd who has been arranging all my interviews. Told my expected CTC and she seemed a bit surprised but didn't negotiate and asked if I have any other offers? I asked when can I expected the OL, she said within a week but didn't take any documents. Can I expect the OL?

Bad part of being laid off: many many interviews (and of course lack of job). Silver lining: no more virtual company happy hours! I do not miss the pressure to participate.
