I get it. I was off for 5 months and was about to take a job in fast food just so I could eat. everything I worked for my whole life was hanging in the balance when by some miracle a position opened up and I was hired. Stay determined and a little prayer never hurt, I did a lot of it. I'm very sorry to hear that. This job market is brutal. And it's fine to be emotional, it's a perfectly normal reaction to what's going on. People are being laid off and no one wants to hire and it's incredibly frustrating. Hang in and stay persistent, you'll find something.
I'm so sorry. You've got every right and reason to be emotional, don't listen to anyone or anything that says otherwise. It'd be unnatural for you to react any differently when you're dealing with so much. Hang in there ❤️.

I am so sorry this is happening to you. Being emotional is a perfectly normal response. Don't give up! You may have to work longer than you planned to build your savings back up but what a blessing to be able to live with your kid. Be a great housemate and keep on looking.
