Look for opportunities at Hines or CBRE. Both are committed to developing sustainable, intelligent buildings/facilities and constantly looking for opportunities to innovate and improve.

I am trying to negotiate an internal base increase. Context is that I am at a FinTech following a key strategic and successful M&A in which I was the sole program manager. For reference I have 3 years of experience and have been offered a 10% base increase as a part of my promotion (current salary is 120k). I feel this is quite low given the market but would really appreciate any input

Compliance question here, I have always thought of the SALT deduction on the fed return as a perm item & have treated as such in such sch M-3. I see that some people put it as a temp on sch M-3. What is the justification for treating it as a temp on the M-3. You don’t set up a deferred on the def RF for the state tax deduct & it is also a rate impacting item (I know that some temps can be rate impacting). But this all leaves me to side with perm. Does anyone know the logic behind temp treatment?

Additional Posts in Commercial Real Estate

I got an offer to work as a commercial real estate agent at Avison Young. My background is in residential sales. I’m wondering how complex working in commercial sales is.
1- Am I responsible for generating leads and networking just like residential?
2- Are there growth opportunities in this field; like is there a corporate ladder in this path to look forward to?
I. would like some advice to consider from those in the industry. Big thanks!!

I'm trying to compare the perks and benefits of leadership positions at the four big CRE firms; JLL, Cushman Wakefield, CBRE and Colliers. Can anyone comment on any perks or benefits they get at the companies I don't work for? I'm thinking company swag, travel to conferences or to meet with clients, leadership retreats, nice offices, vehicles, clothing allowances etc. Curious if there are any benefits to being a leader at any of the other firms. Thanks
