How is the work life balance in Citi?
Here is the scenario: Have 2 offers from IT MNCs and 1 from Citi. Citi's offer is the highest. Almost 5 lakhs diff in the fixed component. Although money is important, but I am also seeking a little balance with life. I was previously in ZS Associates and to be frank, life was hell. I am not looking to relive that phase again.
What are the daily actual working hours?
Shall I join Citi or let go it for a lower package offer?

posting my doggie to unlock my DMs, ☺️

Hi all, does anyone know of any recruiters or hiring managers that work in Affirm Inc. I've been applying for a couple of jobs with them . The role I have applied for I know lam a extraordinary fit for
100% and can help the company/ department succeed. I have a good deal of experience with this role and would love to talk to a recruiter or a hiring manager more about this. If anyone
could reach out to me if you have any information on that I would greatly appreciate it.

I moved to consulting from the entertainment industry (on the artist representation side). From my experience it’s pretty tough to break in so if you have the opportunity to do so and think this is a passion of yours then I’d suggest going for it. Feel free to dm me if you have other questions
Take the opportunity while you can! Best of luck!!
I would definitely take it because it gets you closer to what you want to do, and those kind of opportunities are rare. Time is of essence and the earlier you get exposure to the industry you want, the better. It gets easier to pivot within industry once you gained relevant experience/have media on your cv.
My concern wouldnt be so much on the comp given it’s pretty much the same/not a pay cut. My concern would be more of the role, from analyst consultant to data analyst the job scope is less strategic, if you want to then go from data to strategy again that would be more difficult I think.
I think it’s up to you. If the role is similar to what you want to do then it’s fine, if it is a small subset of the things you want to do (e.g data) but you are currently doing strategy and want to do strategy then I would try to get a strategy role in the field. Having said that though, it’s not a dealbreaker cause you can still pivot after, just harder so you might want to consider that.
