Hello all. I'm a Foreign Medical Graduate who recently moved to US looking fot better life. Currently not Board Certified to work as a physician in US territory. I'm currently working as a Patient Care Technician in a dialysis company because it was the 1st job I could get when I got to the US. Is there any other option I can do where I can get a better pay or growth within the organization? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I had a call w/ a recruiter and after hearing about the job, I *really* want it. But I’m worried I priced myself out of the role. I sent my resume/portfolio after and haven’t even gotten a reply that she received it, and I’ve followed up. I’ve been getting recruiter messages offering salaries up to 120k for copy/senior copy roles (which surprised me) so I gave 110-120 as a range on the call. She hesitantly said she thought 115 would be OK. But wondering if the salary could be the issue? Thought?

I was a contractor for a big company and they just let me know that my last day is December 30th. I got this position thanks to a recruiting company that has been great and gives me benefits.
Should I:
- Continue working with the recruiting company, hoping that they will find another position for me? (as they told me they will, and when they applied me I started working with my current company within 2 weeks)

I’m at a midsize firm in the Midwest and I’ve noticed that we’ve hired multiple associates who all graduated law school the same year. Some are coming from clerkships, other firms, etc., but they’re all on the same graduation year. This feels like it’s setting up a squeeze down the road for these folks with respect to partnership. Im a RN and took on a new role working in Home Health. I chose this position because My husband & I recently moved to PA with our 2 kids (1&3), with no family available for his residency program with a hospital. If you know that life, I’m pretty much the main parent for our kids. I don’t want to work in the hospital/floor work anymore; nor do I believe the hrs are flexible enough.
