I am thinking about leaving my current job in search of a new one. I know a lot of architecture jobs require a portfolio of recent work.
Does anyone know how this works in regards to projects I've worked on but are not my intellectual property such as work that is not made public yet, etc.? Can I still use those plans in my portfolio?

If you worked on the projects just include what your contributions were to the projects i.e. documentation, modeling, CA, etc. as long as you’re not independently taking credit for design you did not create you can also say “collaborated with team on blank”

We are looking for a project architect. Please reach out to us here at Bradley & Ball Architects in Greensboro, NC.

I recently had an interview with BNY for an Analyst role located in DE. The interview went well and I was informed by the recruiter that the team was interested. They asked if I was willing to relocate immediately, and I told him that my decision would be best made if I see an offer. I have not yet received a follow up after this(coming on two weeks) so I know that I've been ghosted. My question is, was I wrong to ask to see the offer before making a decision?

I’m curious to know if anyone has experience working part-time in architecture? I have been working for large international firms in NYC for the past 10 years. So I work all day every day. My evenings and often the weekends are all absorbed by work duties. Working part-time would allow me to find a better balance, and carve out space for side gigs and eventually start my own firm. Any recommendations?

Hi everyone, I’m an architectural designer (from Europe) with 1.5 yrs experience. I’m working for a practice in San Francisco, full-time from the office, getting 25 an hour. It is so expensive to live here, I am struggling to make things work. Is this a normal salary for someone of my experience or should I ask for a raise? I don’t want to be greedy but it’s so expensive out here… Thank you 🌈

I’m 27 & going to go to back to college for my bachelors. I have worked in the legal field for about 8 years & I’m burnt out. After a lot of research an thought I am leaning towards either architecture or interior design. I wanted to ask some advice from anyone working as an architect or interior designer. How do you feel about the field? What are the stress levels like? Do you enjoy it? Are you working at firm or are you working independently? Any info helps! Thanks 😊
