I’d recommend looking at Hal Higdon’s plans! I used them to go from couch to full marathon in about 40 weeks. He has plans for every skill level, and the fact you’re at a 4/5 mile baseline plays well to his plans.
Reach out if you have anymore questions!
Agreed with Deloitte 1 the Hal plans are good! Another option is the Nike Training Club app. It lets you make a good guided program in the app based on your skill and time to train. 12-14 weeks should give you a solid amount of time to build up - you can likely comfortably increase your long run by ~1km each week and go from your current 5 miles (~8km) to half marathon distance (~21k)

I also used the Hal training schedule. I was only up to 3 miles at the time and it took me about 2 months to train for a half. But I also had been running a few weeks before that to get up from 1.5/2 to 3 miles easily. And I had run track in HS (6 days a week) and kept somewhat active in the years between then and the half.
Ok. I’m in a similar situation, so I should be in good shape with 12-14 weeks!
If you already doing 4/5 miles, finishing a half should be easy. Hal higdon plan is the way to go. Rest, hydration and food are equally important as training.
Curious, What state is your race in? Most marathons and half’s I heard were canceled / likely to be canceled till year end
Detroit... I don’t think it’s cancelled yet. It probably will be, but I’m still going to run a half on my own even if it’s cancelled!

0 weeks of actual prep.. get your body ready by occasional walk run walk run routines now and then .. but for a half marathon no need to go over board .. it is not that many miles
