I applied for a job yesterday and got a call from them within the hour! It was a quick, informal chat about my experience. HR wasn't available, so they scheduled an interview for this Monday. It feels a little unusual how fast they contacted me. I checked them out online, and everything seems legit. I'm excited, but it also makes me wonder if there's something I should be aware of. While I look for work, it’s a bit discouraging seeing how hundreds of people apply for positions I see on LinkedIn. I still apply because you never know and AI plays a huge effect in selections. Hi- I’m an hourly AA, been on the role for 6 months now and it’s my first AA job. I did not get a raise when I took the job because it was technically a demotion ( I was a team leader at a contact center). I assist two VPs and now they want to add a third because they’re looking for the “ 3:1 ratio “. Should I ask for a raise? Is this normal?
