I applied for probably 1000 jobs at this point — not even exaggerating. I was laid off in January 2023. It’s now April 2024. I’ve had maybe 5 interviews and re-wrote or customized my resume for each application. Still nothing. I follow the typical job-seeking advice and even have a Master’s degree. Started a speaker talent agency in the meantime, no profit yet.

Looking for support via internal recommendations for open roles at music, event management or event content curation organizations.

If the candidate doesnt finish the case on time during interview, is it a automatic rejection?

I finished up with final interviews on Monday. Is it a bad sign that I’m still waiting to hear back today? Don’t companies typically reach out almost immediately with an offer if they choose you?

How did the interview process go when they asked "why do you want to leave your current position"?

Long post alert; I have been interviewing with a b4 for a senior con role since Mar end. Cleared all the rounds including case study and got strong rating as well as good feedback. Fast forward to last week, the talent POC calls me up and informs that she has asked the business if the position is still open, because now they just need the business approval to roll out the offer. I immediately felt demotivated as to ‘why now’ after all rounds have been cleared (continued in the comment below)

I attended interview in hexaware on sep 24th and cleared all rounds I got a mail from HR to send documents on 29th sep after that no mail no calls.. it has been month.. usually how long hexaware take to release offer

I've been exploring exit opportunities for a few months and still holding out for the right opportunity. However, I've had A LOT of recruiters reach out to me for positions that are way below my current salary. They do the whole "your background and expertise is exactly what we're looking for" then turn around and offer a salary range that is 20k below my current level. My resume clearly says I've got 10yrs experience and an MBA. I **don't think* I should be getting offers of 80k-100k
