I applied to a job opening on Accenture site on Nov. 16. Around Dec 16, my profile got rejected, without any calls or emails. I was told that I could apply only after 6 months. So, I replied on May 20th (6 months from Nov. 16). I got a message saying that the profile already exists. So, I waited for some more time and applied on June 18tg. This is the message I got [We already have this resume in our database which we received from you or some other sources] How long do I still need to wait?

How do you turn down a low offer?
I just received an offer from a place I really wanted to be but the position they’ve decoded to offer is a step back. Worse yet, the pay is even less than my direct reports earn let alone what I make. I’m not taking it personally and am instead chalking it up to a disconnect between their needs and my skills. Still, I feel the need to explain how far off they were. Should I go into detail in my rejection email or just keep it simple as one normally does?

I'm hiring and I've just learned that my HR department is screening candidates by asking them about very specific functions and frameworks.

We don't use Y framework and have no plans to use Y framework in the foreseeable future. I also don't expect candidates to have all functions memorized. How on Earth did they find out about Y framework!? 🙄🫣

I only started at PwC a couple of months ago, but I started getting hunted down by Amazon. I just passed my technical interview with them and I am moving on to the loop interview. What I want to know is... does anyone have experience at both? In my head, as a Solutions Architect, Amazon (or any FAANG) is a feather in my cap. That being said, PwC has been great, and seems like a great company. Would you leave PwC for an AWS Solution Architect position?

When there was a job opening, I asked if I could be considered an internal applicant, and basically got it without having to formally apply. It switched me from one team (Team A) to another (Team B) within the litigation department. The switch was official on 2/1/22. Team A makes substantially less than Team B. At my review in late February, I was told (by a non-JD) that I would receive Team A compensation because this was my “audition year” for Team B. Do I leave my firm? (More in comments)

Do any of you constantly think about retiring? I dream about it all the time. Current role and job is challenging and provides financial stability but it is very stressful and I always feel like I am late or falling behind.
