Thanks everyone. I’ve sold the ticket! Inshallah Allah accepts our Duas in this holy month 🙏🏼
“Verily, you will never leave anything for the sake of Allah Almighty but that Allah will replace it with something better for you.”
This is definitely a test and Allah tests only to what your soul can handle. You can make the right choice and your reward will be greater later if you sacrifice the temporary now.
Go to the concert. Make Dawha outside to the other concertgoers. Any sins will be balanced out. So you’re good.
I would say. Don't go because Ramadan only comes once a month and it's the best chance to get closer to Allah.
If anything the guilt you feel is a good thing and good sign. Build on it and skip the concert keeping in mind that words of shaytan (music) and words of Allah (Quran) don't coexist in the same vessel (heart).
Signing off with a simple but impactful hadith
Abu Mas’ud reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Verily, among the words people obtained from the Prophets are this: If you feel no shame, do as you wish.”
Source: Ṣaḥīḥ al-Bukhārī 3483
Maybe consider going and using it as a chance to unwind, but also keep in mind the importance of maintaining your spirituality during Ramadan. It’s about finding balance. Listen to your heart, and don't be too hard on yourself!
If ur feeling some guilt now, you likely will feel more guilt once you are actually at the concert - it's better to listen to that initial gut feeling than regret the action later - surely this can't be the last time this artist is touring right?
Depends… who is the artist?
John summit the edm dj? So you want to go to a concert wherever everyone is drinking and or on molly and ecstasy? Come on bro. Astugfurillah.
Just go, if you enjoy the music and the artist I wouldn’t let a time of year stop you. Especially if you already listen to music throughout the year.
