I can't decide if its worth continuing this process, the company keeps adding extra interview rounds with new people who weren’t on the original schedule. The finish line keeps moving and meanwhile I turned down another offer for this opportunity but I'm getting bad vibes at this point.

Depends on how much you want this specific role. You have to understand the offer might not come your way, either.

I would ask on an update on when they expect the process to be wrapped up. It could just be they need a lot of people to weigh in.

like

Oooh...idk if I would have turned down the other offer. Their inability to make a decision is inconsiderate to you and a very bad sign.

I can't fathom why you're being so patient. And I really can't understand how you could turn down an offer while other people seem to be dithering around and moving the goalposts. Unless working for the company you're describing would be the culmination of a lifelong ambition, it just seems puzzling. If you get another offer in the meantime, just take it and put the indecisive people behind you.

I hope you turned down the other offer because of the offer is not good enough not because of waiting for this one. Keeping moving finish lines without clear reasons are red flags for me.

Did a first interview with hr rep, went very well. she set up the hiring manager meeting for a few days later. Met with the manager. Another great conversation, went over time and was told I’d hear back about panel set up. Following day I get a request from hr rep to “continue the conversation” with manager. This is set up Tuesday.
Why do you think the manager wants to meet again? Good? Bad? I felt great about the interview when we ended.

I have an offer for $130k for a senior attorney position in a boutique L&E firm. Also have a recruiter who thinks she can get me into another for $150-170k. Both are more than I’ve ever made (Denver, 17 yrs of experience but completely different practice areas). Any tips for countering the $130k offer for more using the other potential offer while not risking a complete withdrawal of the current offer? I’ve never been in a position to bargain my starting salary so this is all very new to me.
