What essential courses or books do you recommend for coming up to speed on Product Management?

Has anyone moved into a non-legal role at a tech company after big law? Trying to figure out what else is out there if I do not want to go in house in a legal capacity.

Hey everyone, I’m a recent grade (2yrs post undergrads. I have event managing, stage managing, and currently working as a daily operations manager for a small content creating agency. Additionally, I take on little projects to helps friends/family. I want to pivot into Project Management, but I’m not sure how to leverage the skills I have. My partner and I are moving out of our condo building in NYC at month end, and the building management (not our landlord) has communicated to us that, on top of the 1K non-refundable fee and 1K security deposit to move out (stated in lease), they are also issuing a $1,250 "sanitization fee" for the public areas (hallways/elevators), since we happen to be moving out during COVID19. We feel this is taking advantage of tenants during this time and may not be legal. Any advice helps!

Any advice on how to request a 20% raise? This is my first career out of college. I signed my offer letter knowing that I was being underpaid by 10%, as per the posted position salary. My 1-year appraisal is close and I would like to request 20% based on an increased workload; I would also like to make up for being underpaid my first year.

My dilemma: Many companies only pay up to a 4% raise. However, that will not cover much in this economy, and I would still be still underpaid.
