Signed the offer with a competitor, but multiple bosses tried to persuade me to stay with the planned growth opportunities in sight. Still decided to leave, and got "wishing you all the best". Guilty much, I love working with the team, but just want to get better progression and pay.

I went on a date last week and it went really well. We basically set up 2nd & 3rd dates that night. 2nd date's Friday for drinks and 3rd date is drag brunch. FML. I’ve been dating someone for 8 months and have been having doubts about the longevity of the relationship. This week he tells me he is thinking about leaving our city and working remotely. Even though I was already thinking about ending it, this hurts. I know I’m being childish - being rejected by someone who I was planning to reject! I have 5 years of experience as Quality engineer in a high volume consumer’s manufacturing industry. I am looking to relocate to Australia. Can someone help me with that? Maybe some recruiters who can refer me for jobs?

My new job occasionally requires me to review vendor agreements. I don’t have any background in this area and am trying to get up to speed. Recently started going through the interview process. I ended up going through 2 interviews in about a week. After the first interview I heard back the following day saying that they wanted to meet for a second one. It’s been about 4 days now since the second interview, which felt like it went great, and still haven’t heard anything. Am I being impatient or should I have heard back by now? I already sent a thank you message after the second interview, should I try to follow up again?

Started the internal GC process in October 2018. Today I-485 status changed to "we ordered your new card." My jail free card is finally on the way I guess. Hope everyone with pending I-485 gets your GC soon!
