Yeah, it’s a vanity thing but I’m not just like sucking it in. I’m tightening the muscles pretty much all the time without really thinking about it at this point. I mean, I do the work but Mother Nature has other plans. Do you blame me?
I thought someone asked if that was my daily check in. You guys are doing much more than me. My home gym is pretty modest:
75 lb sandbag
30 lb sand kettle
17.5 dumbbell
35 dumbbell
25 medicine ball
Pull-up bar
Ab wheel thing where you roll out straight
I do a constant rotation of these hitting different areas to exhaustion (usually daily). Lots of body weight stuff + weights. Lots of things that are combined with pushups (I can do 40+ in good form). A couple days a week I go to a gym to push some bigger weight (but that’s nit the goal) like 400lb legs presses and somewhat heavier dumbbells.
My detached bicep muscle hasn’t seemed to slow me down but I don’t do really heavy bicep weights.
TRX would be a good addition.
