I don't use those things, what I do is pay attention to the puppy's behaviors, many times you have energetic puppies that basically let you know when they want to do a physiological need when they stop and start sniffing the whole scene, and those that are less active what they do is wake up from sleeping and start to smell, that's when you know they want to pee or poop.
Aluminum foil has never failed me, I really spent a lot of money on repellents but nothing worked, I think they are a big scam, or I don't know if maybe they are made for bigger and more knowledgeable animals.
There are some that do work but they are very expensive and it only depends on the adaptation of the pet, it is not something completely infallible, so it is a bit problematic in the same way.
Despite having developed many things to prevent pets from relieving themselves in unwanted places, the truth is that if they pay a little attention they will understand where they should relieve themselves, and over time it will be more comfortable for them to relieve themselves on the grass. or sand on the floor.
Despite being such small beings, puppies have an immense ability to adapt, I have had pets that in the first month already understand that they have to pee or poop outside and not in the house, and we will know that cats are more intelligent than way. I don't think any aerosol or uncomfortable remedy is necessary for them.
I think my cat is broken then because he loves aluminum foil like crazy.
