Hey! Any Google folks know if it’s possible to negotiate fully remote if a contract role is hybrid? Personally, I don’t want to relocate and go to the office on a contract role given the current economy. Plus, I’m assuming contractors are the first to go in layoffs. I just think it’s a fair trade off if I’d be allowed to work fully remote. I’m also trying to have flexibility to manage my Airbnb business in a different country. Same time zone as the home office if I’d travel weeks at a time.

If you want to negotiate for more money, make the best case for yourself that you can. Show how you've improved as an employee and you're a more valuable worker now than you had been. It's possible you'll be told there's simply no budget for raises, or some similar excuse. But that's a good approach to try.
Hello
I am so sorry to hear that. I have been looking for a new job for over six months and can't seem to find anything. I have been doing DoorDash just to make some extra cash.

Ive Heard good things about DoorDash for extra cash too…would you recommend?
Well, I don't know how long you've been at this company and I say it's time to start looking for the next, same, or similar job at another company. Take advantage of being employed and search for something, step on out. You will force them to make an offer if they really want you when you put your notice in.
IF they do counter offer another job, take the opportunity to tell them it must be another couple dollars per hour more than what they offer. They have not handled you as a valued employee, so take advantage of that opportunity if and when it arises.
Take. Look at other jobs
