I feel like I am in a standoff. The recruiter has asked for my expected salary three times now, and even though I tried to redirect, they are not budging. At what point do I just give her a huge range, or is there a better way to get her to share the budget first?

How did you redirect? I ask outright what is their range if asked. Additionally, ask if they are flexible. A lot of times, for the right candidate, they will go up. Nowadays, most posting will have at min a range. I’ve only applied to the ones that were close to desired salary and no lower than 10% below.

Have you provided a single number all those 3 times? Maybe they can’t afford it. Would ask if she can provide a budget that would be ideal

If I am talking to a third party recruiter who is working on multiple job openings with different companies, I will give them a range and also say the range may change depending on the role responsibilities, job location (including # of days in office each week), benefits, etc.

Help - how do I fight claims by scammer healthcare providers?

I recently went to 2 different providers.

Dentist, made appt via Zocdoc to see a dentist that was in network. Another dentist at the location saw me instead who was out of network. I have text evidence they said it would be covered before visit. Claim was denied - asking for ~500 dollars.

Saw a specialist who’s office staff verified my insurance would fully cover the claim. Get the claim, says they are out of network. Owe 600.

Anybody know salary range for VP Operations for GS in SLC?

Hi All! Looking for some advice. I am a manager a country club but I do everything. I’m in charge of outside events and member events, in charge of the front of house staff, scheduling, ordering and membership sales for the club. I feel I am very underpaid at $45k. I do get commission but it’s very low ($10k give or take for the year). I work 6/7 days a week sometimes 10+ hrs/day. I’ve been researching salaries to be able to negotiate higher pay. I want to ask for $60k-is this reasonable?

Should I Go Back and Reneg? Recently I was offered a role as a Project Implementation Manager (In Retirement Services) .The salary range for Colorado residents was 65-89K. I’m located in NY so the recruiter said he would try to get me more. I’ve been approached my by company that one of our large clients (who im currently project managing for) is looking for a consultant of sorts, and if they hire us, I’d be the first person asked to take on this consultant role. I'm working in the US under H1B, I got a chance to face an interview for another company. My current company started the PERM application also and results will be out within the next 3 months. Is it okay to transfer my H1B to a new company? Can my H1B transfer be denied? How long will my green card application delay if I move to a new company and start to apply for a green card from scratch?

They need me at my job, but I’m being way under paid. I’ve asked twice for a pay increase. (With a no a a response) I want to put in my two weeks notice to see if they would consider giving me a pay increase.. but I don’t have a back up plan right now to do so. Any suggestions. I received a job offer from company A and am currently negotiating salary. I have an interview with company B next week and know that they offer a higher base pay. There’s no guarantee that I will be offered a job at company B but my gut is telling me that company B would be a better fit for me. Should I accept the offer from company A, continue interview process with company B and then rescind my offer with company A if company B offers me a job? Will I be burning bridges?
