I find it harder to defend creative over email than pulling someone aside in person to explain your case. I can send an email countering their points 1,2,3 but it doesn’t have the passion or persuasion if I’m person. And our culture is more email than phone call. Anyone have a POV on defending work from home?

I lateraled into a niche practice group in Sept 2021. I also have a 1 year old and have been mostly remote since I started - but have been keeping busy tracking towards 2400-2500 hours. Recently been through a rough job search and finally landed an offer with a mid size bank in their risk practice.
