If you’re getting laid off from Amazon/Oracle that would mean that you have strong skills but just couldn’t survive the financial and business pressure. Your chances of getting another job very soon would be more compared to getting laid off from Gartner since the work is very low-quality, using redundant skills and as mentioned above, not getting any credit for your work, working at the backend. You might struggle to explain your work done at Gartner to other companies and have to oversell everything. Which definitely leads to low chances of getting another job very soon. Gartner will just deplete your skills, rest is your call!

You will be part of a team that updates old document and work with analyst to produce new pieces. There are chances that you won't be credited on the gartner website. You are a background worker. You can assume job security for 8 months (unless gartner stock hits low and financial pressure means layoffs. There has been two rounds so far so choose wisely)

Right decision, don't compromise. Gartner HRs are big manipulators and low ballers. Stick to your ask, if they agree think of joining else dont
