I don’t think there’s any downside of them processing visa for you. You can have multiple firms doing it at the same time if the visa you are taking about is H1B
Not in the states. But essentially you accept the offer and they spend time and money to sponsor your visa. Then you break it because of another offer…Just doesn’t sound good😬
Do what is best for you and your career. The visa cost is peanuts for the company. It must be either of middle East or Singapore right? Compare both the offers and make your choice. In my personal opinion, I think MBB is better than boutique firms. Once you have an MBB on your resume, you can get better offers at boutique firms.
Thanks…I do think it is possible to break it but just feel unethical 😧
From my experience, it takes at least a month to apply for your visa(to prepare all your documents etc)
I would take the boutique if I can’t get MBB, I like the work they do
