I recently started GC with EY law. I haven’t seen any case process since late august and there are a few items past due. The lawyers are not responding to my emails, does anyone know how to get a better sense of case progress and possibly to get the lawyers to speed up the process? Thanks! EY
Does anybody have more info on this? Accurate?

I have a joke about H1Bs, but it is RFEd

In the same boat. Hang in there - you're so close to the light at the end of the tunnel.
Separately, would you advise that we file for resignation once we can electronic approval? Or should we wait for the physical document? What's the risk of doing the former?

Not true physical approvals get lost all the time and you can’t do an I-9 without the physical approval
I feel you. If you get the application receipt for your new employer, you can technically give your notice. It’ll give you time to recharge and no amount of money can compensate for that.
However, if you want to avoid the anxiety and stress, give your 2 week notice after the approval and push your joining date by your desired interval. This will help you get some time in between.
Your current employer is required to withdraw your H1B once you’re done working there, and if this happens before the transfer is finalized, you lose your transfer. Don’t quit.
Not true. You have 60 days regardless of what your previous employer does
Same boat. Two offers in hand and waiting for h1b transfer. Joining in jan and just three more working weeks
Former is fine as sometimes it takes time to get physical document in hand but if you have time you can wait just for sake of getting things in hand before you start!! You have to get I-9 verified & updated before completing 3 days of employment
Just take time-off/PTO. Also, holidays are coming…
Don't resign based on receipt. What if you get rfe for some reason, you can obviously still work for your new employer but will be under tremendous stress.
More over with holidays coming in chill!
In the same boat.
I was in the same boat. Got an offer in Nov 2020 but my visa transfer approval didn’t go through until March 2021. So you can do it!
Love that for you.
