By now, you should have 15 certs and 3 masters if you want to succeed in Cyber. Sorry
I think doing what interests you and meets your personal goals is best.
If you’re more interested in Management, do the MBA. If you’re more interested in having specialized skills, I would recommend a specialized cyber degree over a general information tech degree from NW. NW is expensive, too.
I also have DePaul for cybersecurity masters which is more affordable. I just want to secure a good future for myself and thinking northwestern will help me get high paying jobs in future
In that case, Certs or MBA is the way to go.
School branding doesn’t matter for cyber as much as it does for other fields.
I see plenty of people at PwC that have DePaul Cyber undergrad/masters as well as Northwestern undergrad/masters. In the Chicago area, both schools are highly employable for cyber, and it’s more about what skills you can bring.
I interview candidates from both DePaul and Northwestern for PwC and my previous employer, and we hire from both.
Honestly, do the Georgia Tech Masters for $10K if you care about masters prestige. It’s cheaper and higher ranked than NW in cyber.
I am in Chicago so I would like to go in person
