I had a conversation with a military veteran turned esthetician. She was frustrated with the ethical, moral, and legal decisions of some business owners. She mentioned that in the military there was an obligation to report these things and asked if it was the same in our industry. I told her no, we don’t *have* to report questionable business practices but whether or not we *should* is a different question. I don’t know how transferable this is, but I thought it might make for good discussion.

Really confused as to whether to incorporate my NY- based makeup startup as an LLC or an S-corp? Not based in NYC if that matters and no revenue yet.
