I had an interview with deloitte recently. First round went really well. Second interview with the partner I just didn’t have my best day and best interview performance. Didn’t get the role. Recruiter said feedback was positive overall and to stay in touch. Do I have a chance at getting in soon for another role, or are my chances done for like a year?

So pretty much you work In consulting, get paid half of what fang people make and In many cases work IB hours to meet clients continually changing demands . All the while the consulting project is built on a half thought out rushed tech stack/architecture? Meanwhile tech companies expose their employees to best in bread tech stacks? I really don’t understand why anyone in the field would work as a consultant doing data work? The only + is in consulting there are lots of low hangin fruit 🍎.

I am joining Deloitte soon, before putting down my notice with my current employer the background investigation team informed me that except the current employer all elements are completed and finalized. Is it ok to put down the notice now or will there be any additional investigation that needs to be completed.

I joined KPMG a while ago from federal consulting. Federal consulting had super good work life balance but I’ve been working at KPMG strategy for a while now.
