I have been at my company for 3.5 years. One year ago (2.5 years into my employment with them) they re-leveled everyone and I was bumped to an entry level position on the terms that they changed my job title when they re-leveled, so “technically” I am at the early stages of my new title. Even though the job duties did not really change.
I’m not sure the best way to approach this. Has anyone else had a similar experience or know how I should advocate for myself?

Do you think it would be beneficial if I were to wait till after the new year to leave my firm since raises are communicated right after the new year and negotiate salary off a larger number or just leave now and stick to my salary requirements?
