I have 8ish years of agency experience but haven’t had a senior copywriter position yet. Is it worth even trying to apply for an ACD position if they’re looking for someone with at least 5 years of agency experience? Or am I just asking to be ghosted?

Trying to laterally move to another in house position. At my current company, Counsel is a Manager level position while Senior Counsel is a Director level and General Counsel is Senior Director. Would like to find if Counsel is a Director role at other companies.

What’s the best way to deal with a partner that prefers working solo? For context, this writer I work with conceptualizes by himself, emails the Account team, gives deep input, and makes decisions for us without consulting with me (his “partner”) most of the time. While I appreciate his proactiveness, I feel excluded, limited, and without much room to co-lead the work with him. I don’t know how to bring this up without sounding like I’m b*tching about it.
