I have a friend with 8 yoe. He joined Nvidia 1 year back. He has bought flat car etc. I don't want to ask how much he is earning but can people working at nvidia comment on for a 8 yoe what pay they must be getting at nvidia. He is from iit of that is also a factor.

I have an offer to join a startup as an APM. The only downside is that the engineering team is located offshore in India. I’m concerned about the resulting impact because of 1) the potential late night calls 2) the learning opportunities missed by not working with a US engineering team (communication tactics, translatable skills) 3) potential exit opps into FAANG pm roles due to not having experience with an onshore eng team.
