Going through interview process at MBB for Dallas office (my current city), but will be moving to Boston in September. Will it be a problem to transfer offices so soon after joining?

I applied prior to confirming I would be making the move, or else I probably would have just applied to the Boston office.

From recruiter reach out to scheduling the first RRK interview it has taken 7 weeks ! Is that normal or they are going thru the motions ? I am confused how serious they are about filling the role

Should you discuss salary range with an internal company recruiter prior to setting up an interview? With external recruiters it’s pretty easy to talk about the expected range. Have final round interviews at BCG tomorrow. I'm at S& right now at the SA level. Father had a sudden health issue come up this week and it's got me off my game. I'll ultimately need to support him financially for at least a year while he recovers. Not complaining, but has me considering just dropping out of the interview process. Is that crazy? Is the opportunity with BCG really so far beyond what I have already with S&? Is dropping a better look than interviewing and doing terribly?

Now HR called and was asking aren't you interested in the offer , HR said that client tried to contact you but you werent responding.
