How bad you want the baby?
To clarify the question isn’t whether to keep the baby 😂 it’s should I be taking on a role with more responsibilities during so many physical and mental unknowns
Morning sickness usually stops at about three months . That said some women are quite sick all the way through pregnancy .
I too am going through my first first trimester and it is so incredibly humbling. Congrats on the new opportunity! I have no advice for you but thinking of you, wishing you health, and sending support! You’ve got this!! We’re so much stronger than we feel!
I started feeling good at 4 months. Congratulations on the promotion! You might want to let even a few people know if you haven’t announced your pregnancy to ensure transparency and also (hopefully) ensure people recognize that first semester tiredness and sickness is a real thing.
Congratulations! This is a tough one. I’ve switched jobs before while pregnant and I made it work but transparently in this market , I wouldn’t want to start over at a higher title and deal with the “proving myself” phase while pregnant and adjusting to being a mom for the first time. What would tip the scales for me would be if this were a company that is known for having an excellent culture, benefits etc. did you get a read on that? Dos their policy allow leave paid leave before a year?
