Looking for a commission only (1099) sales position.

So Altman clearly beats out MBB in some sectors and is trying to position themselves as an MBB or perhaps tier 2 equivalent, but they’re just not matching the salaries. Why were Analyst salaries only raised to $95K when my friends at big firms (not just tier 2 but also MBB) will be making $100-120k as second years?

Can someone comment on what an associate actually does at a sales/sourcing-heavy growth equity shop? Is it like a business development representative role at a tech company, in terms of the funnel/outreach/crm activities you do? Do you learn less about investing compared to due diligence-focused associate roles? How’s associate-level sourcing different from “PE analyst” sourcing?

Anyone else given a verbal offer but then they take it back and give the position to someone else?

I had my interview/technical discussion for Datastage Developer Role yesterday. The Interview went kind of ok and the interviewer said she will give feedback to the HR and he will inform you for further rounds. How much time do they take for next round intimation?

Got offered 83k to start as an analyst for Deloitte’s controllership advisory position. Coming from one year. Of audit experience from pwc. Should I accept this pay from Deloitte? I hear A1’s in pwc advisory make 84k and A2’s make 95k. I feel used and undersold.

I’m not sure if I want to pursue being an MD or not. I was up for promotion two years ago and took myself out of the pool in order to ensure I could be home with my family.
