I tend to overwork myself and it’s really taking a toll on my mental well-being. I want to learn a lot and prove myself to my superiors so that they recognize me/see value. Now my work has a sense of dread to it. I watched my parents be workaholics growing up, so it’s all I know. I’m also goal-oriented and driven, so achieving a lot scratches that itch for me. But, it’s making me want to quit cause I’m burned out and depressed….im not sure what to do. Any suggestions would be helpful.

I just recently started here, it’s probably a remote position but they have the ability to ask you to come in office every so often. (They usually don’t and it’s usually not mandatory) It should say it at the bottom of the job posting. I almost interviewed for that position a while back and I think that’s what it was then too.
Hi, her is an update. So just had my interview with recruiter today! And seems like it's hybrid role with 3 day in office requirement. I wanted to know how strict is Capital one regarding the 3 day in office policy!! Does manager discretion play a role in the hybrid model or not!! Any insight will be helpful as i have my 2nd interview scheduled for Thursday with hiring manager.

Strange that they haven’t put the work posture on the listing.
There’s probably a few reasons for them wanting you to be within 50 miles. One is probably so they can get their tax credits for employment. Second is probably for them to continue to do business in the state, they may need to have employees in the state. Third is they might pull you in for meetings from time to time, or it could be space that’s available for client meetings in your territory.
I would just ask, really being curious…
Interviewed with them previously and they were very adamant about maintaining at least 3 days a week in office.
They may have changed their tune, this was for a corporate finance role about a year ago. Liked everyone I met and was very impressed with the team but the offer wasn’t what the recruiter and I had discussed up front. Good luck, hope you get it.
Yes, I am very curious as it's a job that I totally want as my next step in my career. I shall know next week when I have the interview with the recruiter... i work fully remotely currently an I was hoping to not have a drastic shift in my work/ life dynamics but the opportunity, pay and company is all checking the list for me!!! Therefore am so anxious to know i really hope it's not a hybrid one with like a 3 day in office 😬
Thank you so much this is very helpful, I act was able to do some more research in old job postings for same role and seems like you are right ,,, but this is very helpful!!! I guess I'll know all details next week!!!
