A bit of advice to folks looking for sponsorship: When applying to an American company, please do well to use a resume and not a CV(international format). Shows you did your research. Also a resume should not be more than a page unless you have over ten years of experience or your bullets are absolutely relevant to the position you’re applying to. Being able to summarize your experience to relevancy is part of being a quality consultant. 1st few lines should tell a recruiter what they need
If I’m looking to only start a new role in August, when’s a good time to start applying to another B4 firm?
First two rounds completed. SM round pending for a month. Followed up with the recruiter every week.
Both the interviews were great, and the 2nd interviewer confirmed during the interview that he is recommending for the next round.
What to do in order to expedite the process?

Any ATK to MBB lateral movers?
Love the firm, however, considering MBB for the following reasons:
1. Extremely long hours at ATK (80 to 100 hours a week)
2. Less prestigious in America
How long does the interviewing process usually take (from when you submit an application to when you get the final offer) when moving from PA into industry, especially at the senior level?
MBB- when’s an appropriate time to start taking PTO after you start your first job? I just graduated, start my role in July, and was hoping to take a day or two off in September to travel/see family. However, I heard a rule of thumb that you shouldn’t take vacation in the first 6 months of your new role. Any thoughts? TIA!

Hello Fishes, how are the opportunities at tech Mahindra with respect to data science? Does a data scientist get to work in core ML/Deep learning domain? Or is the work on heavy Analytics side? I was interviewed for data scientist position directly by a senior manager person and they have offered me Sr. Software Engineer which I think is generic. I am currently working as a Data Scientist with 5 yoe and relevant 2 yoe. Any help relater to type of role or opportunites would be helpful.

do you think it’s a good idea for someone to found two startups in parallel?
An upside of doing both: potential for synergies (e.g., one IT team covers both)
A downside is that it requires a larger time and capital investment from a founder. Thus, more risk.

Any recommendations for in house or agency jobs that have cutting edge UX/digital teams? Every day that I spend in the ad industry makes me feel like I’m losing what I learned as a product designer.

Weighing offers from IQVIA (Consultant, strategy/life science) and Oliver Wyman (Experienced Consultant). IQVIA base and total comp are slightly better. Thoughts on each company, work/life, career growth, ect. Which offer would you accept? Also, I am a consultant for a healthcare network now, not a physician.
I have to drive to Hunstville for a week this summer and then I have nothing to do for the week I’m there. May work a bit, may not. Thoughts on Lake Guntersville? Or a hotel or AirBnB somewhere? Love traveling alone, just know nothing about the area and most of the stuff I’ve found online is for families. I remember liking Guntersville as a kid but that was longer ago than I care to admit.
