I have been in industry for 1 yr after 5 yrs in public. I miss some coworkers and clients but overall this is much better. I make more money working far less hours. If I don’t move up I’ll job hop.

For the record, all the things the senior managers and partners had me dreading about industry are non-issues. I have equal vacation, better parental leave, flexible hours, feedback, and do a great variety of projects.
