Double edge sword
I grew up poor af too and in a third world country. That's why I swear I'll never give up to not let my kids grow up in same environment again
Same here. Hustled my way through just about everything. Probably shouldn't have even gotten here but that's what pisses me when I hear people complaining about PA
Get your experience and gtfo. There are tons of opportunities out there - no money can make up for living unhappy life. When you do what you love - money simply come to you, you are in better mood and better things attract to you. Or at least find something that you don't hate or that doesn't make you miserable - you will find the money too. PA isn't even paying that much tbh. Take chances - yolo.
Idk growing up poor have me a perspective on life I'm just now starting to appreciate
Amen fam! Grew up poor and now it's hard to leave PA wit the constant leveling up and salary growth potential over the long haul
@SA1 why do you think anyone 'growing up poor' would be from another country ?
Deloitte1, growing up poor in general gives you a dif perspective in life, but growing up poor in a diff country and then coming to the land of opportunity adds a whole other level of appreciation for what we have here.
My parents sent me to a school of privileged kids so I grew up totally different from my peers in terms of social and economical status. I've been facing with depression my entire life because I never fit in with those kids, but thanks to that I got a chance to study abroad and landed a job at Deloitte. Sometimes depression actually keeps me moving forward.
Oh but not depressed... MA been good to me
Why are you depressed? Work can be hard but I love my coworkers and we're truly lucky to have all the perks that come with the job.
Zoloft, Adderall, Lamictal, Risperdone, and grind
^ is ur 600 bucks dinner offer open for me. #iloveuesquire💙
I have dealt with depression issues while working in PA myself. You are here though and you made it here. Put in your time (at least until senior), get on meds if you need it and move on. PA will open a lot of doors.
No I grew up in the good ole USA
Same here, OP. But sometimes the really tough days get to me
Did you grow up in a diff country?
