I had joined KPMG(KGS) on April 2022, during the interview i have been told that i would be working on Java Backend Development as my background belongs to same technology and my interview was also happened on Java/Spring/Microservices; but they put me on Low-Code / No code Platform and its totally tool based work. Cleared Accenture Skill interview by answering almost all the questions and received congratulatory mail for HR round and submitting all documents. Then after a week received a call from HR saying that due to some technical issue, the skills round will happen again and an online assessment was set up. In the assessment, questions which were not directly related to the profile were asked and then a rejection mail was received. Does this happen a lot?

First i will suggest ,always have a counter offer.
Second, its better to rest few more days or week, rather than joining on low salary expectations. Instead utilize that time to add some weight to your resume.

I was laid off last year August. It's very shocking and I know the feel. As the Tietoevry person mentioned I told the HRs that no company accepts 3 months notice and all want immediate joiners. No one questioned me further. Never reveal anyone that you were fired. Not even to family and friends. Dont go for low salary. Keep on up skill and try it in linkedin. You will get job soon. Dont loose hope. All the best bro.

Just say i took a break due to personal reason., and i can join in a week or so. Once you get the offer letter and ready to join in short time nobody is bothered what you said in an interview whether being terminated or put down paper intentionally. Remember that the hiring manager or team and HR team never be on the same page. Be as much crook as you can

I also faced the same issue where the company i was working with, had projects which got ramp down and due to this we were forced to leave the organisation . Initially i was also not getting calls but i always said these lines to the recruiter as the project has got ramp down and i am an immediate joiner. The process of getting job is definitely slow but trust me if you are giving the right reason defiantly you will be hired. Also prepare more on your skills in this free time and then give interviews . If you are giving interviews under pressure and fear then the things will always be on the tougher side. Best of Luck :)
Take some ones offer letter and edit it with your name and salary and any company details and tell them that i got offer letter from a company but that is C2H so i am looking for better opportunity. And you can add like they are not allowing me wfh or hybrid so i am looking for hybrid opportunities.

No, you can say them I had long 90 day notice period becoz of which I was not getting calls after applying at different organizations, thats why I resigned first and I'm started applying in last month of notice period
