Any tips for HireVue interviews/Delta Airlines?
PwC India Hi Folks, I left my stable job at Deloitte USI and moved to Germany for a better job. But my mom had a major health issue and I'm planning to travel back to India to support her as I'm a single child. I'm working in one of the top organisation in Germany with a base of 90k euro and looking for good opportunities in India. You may need to get off the "remote train." It isn't 2020 any longer. Try to find a company that values firm, visible roots in the community. Someone with an office building downtown with its name on it or at least emblazoned across the door of an office suite. These companies also value hiring local employees with connections in the community. Unfortunately, they also expect those employees to come to the office. If a company's employees can do their work from a remote desk with a computer and phone, they can find a world of cheaper employees than they can find in the U.S.
Ouch.
Do you have any credentials? Job market is definitely tougher than last year, especially more and more companies outsource their work to India. Any job below manager level is gradually occupied by Indians/offshore workers.
Job searching right now is so brutal, especially since the new admin came into power (I really think the chaos is contributing). Have you tried expanding your search to include companies outside Boston or considering contract/part-time roles? Sometimes those lead to full-time offers, plus they can be a good foot in the door.
I have! I am currently in a temp position but it’s ending at the end of this month
When I' get my company off the ground all my employees will be able to work remotely, via Spark and Teams, so that I can cut down on my over head cost per year, such as light, Wifi, and all essential things needed to run business from in officeI'll cost by at least 50 percent
And not mention my employees having the options to work 4-10. I'm not trying to micro manage any one because we're all grown ups who know what responsibilities are, And Goaled to keep the my hiring rate down as I grow my business for the next 5 years from the bottom to solid GROUND.
Old way of thinking wanting folks to still come into an office is crazy, wasting gas, time and ENERGY.
LOL It's 2025
U don't need LUCK when you're BLESSED and Highly favored by MOST HIGH!
Most high anyone sending me...any negative energy
I ask that the same negative ENERGY is return back to sender 1000 folds, 😊
I have not completed my degree but my experience at my last job was a controller of finance, Also I have noticed that a lot of company’s are currently doing that.
I’m open looking for anything in executive management at this point
Cherry Bekaert has openings in Waltham. The majority of that office are remote/hybrid
I know for some companies including the one I work for, they are done hiring remote. A few of us were in the midst of the turmoil during Covid and they let us stay fully remote. All of the recent hires have been solely for in office roles.
