Anyone successfully transition from accounting to software engineering?

Debating leaving and going to a different Big 4, thoughts?

I am currently working in Accenture and have close to 11 years of experience in Service Desk, Continuous Improvement, Automation for Service management, Problem management. I am a big fan of SAP and its work culture. I have ITIL certification along with Azure Fundamentals. I am trying hard to get a job as a associate manager or manager role in SAP. I am currently handling a large team and i am a supervisor. Is there any way any one can advise or assist.

If you were looking to exit Big 4 Consulting, what positions would you be targeting? I have done a little of everything with no specialization (great performance reviews across the board). But now a little unsure of what my skills really are from an employer POV.

Thoughts on moving from SAP implementations to FP&A role? Has anyone gone down this path? What would career progression look like if I start out as an FP&A analyst/manager? TIA!

Laid off, any tips on how to gain experience/sharpen resume while job searching? I was in a project management support analyst role/ Venture capital sales role. I’m thinking of getting certifications to increase marketability

I’ve been at my company for 10+ years. I’m not happy with the culture but have flexibility I enjoy, seniority for the time I’ve been here, and pays well. An new job opportunity came up as a Tax Manager but in a different industry which could expand my skillset in different ways, but is not as flexible and the pay is 20k lower. If I stay, I will be Director in few years. What will look better on a resume in the future, continued growth in 1 company or experience in more than 1 company?
