It’s not that hard if you have baseline coding skills. I started from zero competency and needed direction, so I did a coding boot camp. If you know a little already you could get by with boosting your proficiency level through YouTube videos and interview prep via leetcode.com.

like

An easy transition would be to get really good at Alteryx/ knime and Python so you can automate accounting tasks .. I would think you can also use those projects to show your competency in coding (especially if you’re gonna be using Python to do so)

like

Yeah I’ve had some work experience in Alteryx, probably will look to get some certifications for that. Have also been learning python for an hour everyday. Maybe will try data science into software engineering hopefully

You know what, I’ve had no luck so far so I’ll go ahead and try this.

My name is Michael Smith, but I go by Mikey J. I’ve been looking for work in the digital marketing and media field for a couple of months now to no avail.

Here is my resume. Take a look. Maybe someone knows of someone who is looking for my experience and can connect us. Maybe you’re the one looking. Either way, thanks in advance!

During work from office days, a representative from third party vendor organization used to visit the Gurgaon office during the Investment Proof Declaration days to help folks with "rent agreements, PAN number and rent slips" (ahem!! ahem!! IYKYK) and we were able to claim tax deductions.

Is it still happening there? Also, does anyone have a contact for them?

Friends, need some feedback on an idea:

I’m thinking of starting a podcast interviewing leaders at startups about their experience with specific challenges - I know, cliche, get a more original hobby, etc.

Not looking for the narrative arc of How I Built This or Masters of Scale. Instead, looking to uncover specific problems faced by companies that tried something new for the first time. What did they not see coming, how did they adapt and measure, etc.

I’ve been at my company for 10+ years. I’m not happy with the culture but have flexibility I enjoy, seniority for the time I’ve been here, and pays well. An new job opportunity came up as a Tax Manager but in a different industry which could expand my skillset in different ways, but is not as flexible and the pay is 20k lower. If I stay, I will be Director in few years. What will look better on a resume in the future, continued growth in 1 company or experience in more than 1 company?
