So sorry to hear about the challenges you’ve been having. What is the question?
Thoughts or opinions appreciated
Then I find out my companies insurance is being canceled. We let our lease lapse on our HQ office and new HQ office is in a different state so BCBS canceled our policy since we didn't have an office in the state our original policy was in. So we had to scramble to get insurance with my husbands company so we didn't have any lapse in coverage. My new insurance policy through my employer wasn't the same, especially for infertility.
My husband's employer has difference insurance depending on union or non-union employment. Union employees had practically no coverage other than annual exam; non-union we weren't quite sure as my husband misplaced the information from last fall. Insurance card arrived a couple days ago and so I immediately setup my account to look at what my new coverage includes: IUI/AI and IVF but with a lifetime limit for each. I didn't see a lifetime limit with my previous insurance with IUI.
Now the issue is that my husband and I work different shifts so going to either location together would require him to take time off work (I WFH so I can easily work from the car, if needed); but then found out that we could do the process where his sperm is collected and held at the office like a donor.
I have PCOS and my husband insisted on waiting so long until I basically begged him to start actively trying... we've been trying for over 6 years. No doctor has offered to do anything more than OI. I have done probably OI way more times than recommended... at least 15+ cycles. Never have had a positive pregnancy test. Recently was told that my uterus is tilted and to do any position other than missionary.
