Hi I have a question. I have been in media for television and radio for 20 years. I am looking to pivot to tech and I have an interview next Friday with a recruiter. It is for an executive broadcast booker position at Meta. There is no salary listed for this position or no previous salary history on glassdoor. I joined @mindtree in Jan 2022. Suddenly there is a 10k deduction in salary in the month of April. The salary slip say 10k deduction as INCOME TAX. Mindtree says "You come under 20% slab according to the income tax calculations. When all the tax slabs are applied you will have to pay yearly tax around Rs. X amount. So that amount will be deducted in monthly basis." Why sudden income tax deduction? Why was that not deducted in the month of Jan Feb March ? How can i recover that 10k every month?
