Great luxury starter brands: Omega, Tudor, Rolex, IWC
My favorite is the Tudor Black Bay 58
Chief
I have three:
VC Patrimony
VC 1942 Triple Calendrier from the historiques collection
VC Cornes de Vache from the historiques collection
These are truly expensive, but are beautiful pieces!
Yeah, BB58 is probably the move. Aqua Terra would be another good choice.
I agree with A1’s suggestions, but I’d also suggest going to your local AD or a few and just talking to a sales associate and say you’re trying to buy your first luxury watch, do they have any recommendations and your experience should be pretty good and they’ll actually provide customer service
Apple Watch all the way! And covered by firms well being subsidy
The following watches are not all at the same price point. Any thoughts on these:
- Tag Heuer Autavia
- Breitling Superocean Heritage,
- Omega Seamaster 300
- Rolex Submariner
Definitely go try all of these on. Each will have a vastly different style and feel on wrist. Comments above are correct that the Rolex will be hard to come by. If you jive with that look, also try the Tudor Black Bay - similar quality, more interesting design, and Rolex heritage. Or Pelagos if you want something sportier.
Blancpain Fifty Fathoms if you want understated. The Superocean is also beautiful and I recommend it.
