I have completed my both rounds of interview and as I have discussed with hr he told me it will take 7 to 8 days then hr will reach out to you for further process, it's been a week I am waiting for someone to call me from Deloitte USI for hr discussion or atleast pht mail, can someone suggest what to do ?

I got interviewed at KPMG and got positive feedback. I am offered consultant position and was asked to share my documents with expected salary. It has been 3 days now and no has called me negotiation any further. Is it normal that it may take this much time or is it possible they can close the position internally without giving me an offer letter?

I’ve been told that cold applying and making no contacts is usually not going to lead to anything, and that’s been true in my experience. But should I reach out to someone first? Should I complain to a firm's HR if the interviewers laughed at my answer during an interview? Maybe it sounded scripted but it was still heartfelt and genuine: my immigration story and how that made me appreciate the rule of law. I said it soo many times during OCI's that maybe it eventually sounded robotic, but for the interviewers to laugh and one to say sarcastically "nice elevator pitch", I thought was rude. Thoughts?

Two days later I got an email saying Microsoft is freezing hiring for certain departments and the recruiter is ghosting me. Will I even get a chance to interview atleast?

I started a full time in-house design job that pays extremely well. I barely have to work at all. This makes me very confused since I kept hearing stories of people working 60+ hr weeks as designers at ad agencies. I am not complaining, but I have this creeping irrational feeling that I’ll get fired for not working even though there’s nothing for me to do. Should i be making up projects or asking for more work? Or just chill out? I just feel very confused. Are a lot of full time jobs like this?
