Applied for a position in PWC UK and status shows as 'interviewin' on workday. Does this mean I'm selected for an Interview, or that the position itself is now in the interviewing process.

If 2+ people submit a referral on your behalf at their company for a position you recently applied for, does it make you stand out even more/increase your chances of getting an interview vs. just 1?

I have a VC/GE interview coming up (phone screen) and personally don’t know much about the space , it’s just an area that has always seemed interesting.

Does anyone have Recommendations on how to get up to speed/good questions to ask during the phone screen?

I would assume the first call will be pretty standard to any other company, but just want to be prepared.

I’ve had several great interviews with a few diff companies. Or rather, I thought they went well but then I get the dreaded “thanks but we made the difficult decision to move forward with other candidates”. I’ve asked for feedback but so far have gotten none.

I know it’s competitive out there, but I also don’t know how I can either position myself better, seek positions that are more aligned with my expertise/experience, or work on improving certain areas.

Any advice on how to proceed?

Anyone interviewed for DoorDash strategy/ops senior associate positions? What’s their salary band? Asked about it and the hiring team person who reached out to me refused to share info, saying that a recruiter will share this info later in the process. LOL. I have a final round at another firm on Monday (fastest they can do) that I would prefer, both because of the work and the pay. Is it really bad to accept one offer and then potentially cancel it if I get a better offer a day or two later?
