I have limited experience but I’m trying to get back into construction now obviously they’ll hire the more qualified guy over me which I get. So are there any parts of the offered salary I can give up or maybe like the benefits for a month or two to show them I can learn and at the end of that period either they give me full benefits and pay or fire me is that maybe something I can do? Because I’ve been finding it hard to get hired over more qualified people.

Have an interview with a company I really want to work for tomorrow. My last job I was laid off b/c of an acquisition&recently accepted a job at a diff company b/c I couldnt afford not to. I got this invite shortly after. The place I’m interviewing at the job wouldn’t start til next year. I dont want to seem like a job hopper. Do i tell them I’m at a new role or just not bring it up? This was a little bit expected, as the role is requiring a few years less experience than I have and also in a much cheaper market. Hello, I’m being offered a policy analyst position what is the typical range I should ask for. I’ve done research and it’s a wide range.

When I negotiated my comp, all my discussions were around me being a junior and I only accepted my comp for that reason (would not have accepted if I was step above junior since it was low). Negotiations happened with HR, but my offer letter and documents never mention junior (but I have proof from HR saying I am a junior). How do I approach this with my boss as I’m not sure she’s aware I’m actually technically a junior? Revolving around asking for a move up + raise
