Anyone hiring an entry level compensations analyst? I have payroll experience and I want to pivot into compensation.
Interested in applying for a Lead Marketing Specialist position at Deloitte. Is anyone it that department that would be willing to give a referral? Also, are you working remotely?
Any advice on how to request a 20% raise? This is my first career out of college. I signed my offer letter knowing that I was being underpaid by 10%, as per the posted position salary. My 1-year appraisal is close and I would like to request 20% based on an increased workload; I would also like to make up for being underpaid my first year.
My dilemma: Many companies only pay up to a 4% raise. However, that will not cover much in this economy, and I would still be still underpaid.
I have total 5yoe as Incident Manager in wipro. Now finding opportunity in Capgemini. If any HR hiring for the same pls refer me.
I was offered an office manager role for $75k, can anyone confirm that’s within the range for this role? Thank you ☺️
Is it appropriate to reach out to a hiring manager directly? I have multiple contacts at the company I applied with and reached out to one to see if he knew the hiring manager for the position. He did know her and was excited to hear I’d applied for the position, and he actually reached out to her on my behalf. Should I wait to hear from her or is it appropriate to introduce myself directly? I always encourage applicants to reach out to me directly, but I wanted to hear from other professionals.
I am trying to move from my farming role back to an outbound prospecting position. I have a couple screening calls for some pretty awesome companies and I would love some pointers on how to beat the objection that I have only been in my farming role since June. How would you sell the fact you want to go back to SDR, I am sick and tired of non revenue generating activity and miss having a list to attack.
Hello, I am finalist for an in house position at a major academic health center. I’ve been asked to take a one hour written exam consisting of a hypothetical assignment. I’m quite nervous and don’t really know how to prepare or strategize. I’d be so grateful for any advice

Anyone in the Tampa Bay Area and work in Health Admin? about to graduate with my Bachelors next month and am wondering what my next steps could be, or where I could start working?
I'm so sad Wendy Williams' show was cancelled! She was one of my favorite hosts for her bluntness and honesty. I hope she finds a new platform soon!
What are some of the best consulting firms for digital strategy roles? Looking for a change and was wondering which of the T1/T2 firms have digital practices in Canada. I have applied to ATK and McK. BCG is working to establish their presence in Canada but their team is focused on establishing top down. Bain doesn’t have digital focus. Can anyone shed some light on other T2 firms?
anyone else exhausted by the constant dialogue around mental wellness in the workplace this year? Never ending emails/about making space, mental health benefits, etc. I’ve already received 2 emails this week, one was resent to me asking to brainstorm more ideas support the team through “tough times”. I think I’ve been good about checking in with teams, pushing back on clients as best I can, making accommodations for those who’ve asked for them - but the incessant pressure to manage others’
I’m currently working with a senior level HR candidate. This individual has a doctorate in business with a focus in HR, her SPHR, Federal, and private sector experience at the singer level, and has a fabulous personality. I’m curious is anyone else having difficulties play some candidates like this? At this point I’m starting to think it’s racial or her sex based of the lack of interest in this candidate. Any thoughts?
Hi everyone! I need a few likes to DM other users. Could you please like this post? Appreciate your help!

Real Talk: Are panic attacks and crippling anxiety the new normal in PR and comms jobs? I’ve found myself lately to the point that I’m not sleeping, I’m working 15+ hour days, I’m experiencing panic attacks and crippling anxiety. It seems like many in our industry are going through this. Is this the new normal? Seems like now more than ever we should be looking to make a change in the industry and not normalize this.
So ladies who went to 3% this year - virtually or in person- how was it? I have to admit that I’ve grown skeptical of the conference’s ability to hold accountable the industry when the industry is the one bankrolling them. They’d be nowhere without huge donations from holding companies and tech. And yet…barely anything has changed. Yes. We have more (white) women in leadership- but all holding companies are white male led. Almost all CCO’s are men. Almost all C-suites are white men. Cont…

Recently moved here from the US. Naturally, socializing has been quite dire - would anybody be interested in a meet up?
What's your workout routine? I've been trying to come up with the most efficient routine and sticking to it.
Anybody hiring for data analytics positions? I just need a first round interview. I am a decent candidate, my last 5 interviews were EY, McK, EY, McK and GS (last round, 1st round, last round, 2nd round, 1st round). I have 10 months of experience and graduated with majors in cs and bus. I interned once at a big 4 acc firm and once as a software engineer.
1 caveat: I am an F1 student on OPT.
Relatively new partner here. Recently, I took my eye off the ball of a small closing (assuming, incorrectly, that the senior associate was on top of things), and the client became openly frustrated with us. It all ended up fine, but I never directly apologized. (I am also a woman and hyper aware of the female tendency to over-apologize.) Do I send the client a note/call to acknowledge the shortcomings and take responsibility? Or would that be met with annoyance?

Received an offer from Google. I am in the east coast but the team sits in the Sunnyvale office. The manager is flexible and he mentioned that I could continue working from the east coast. In my offer the location is CA. Would you recommend relocating to CA just to have the in person interaction with the team?
I am in a Jr Web Developer bootcamp and a Web Developer apprenticeship at a nonprofit and i am trying to get in a Google Software Engineer apprenticeship.
Is it a bad idea to use on my resume and LinkedIn the title Software Engineer for my current apprenticeship and headline?

Seems like a lot of you are applying for PSO Engagement Managers? Wonder how many positions they have.
I’m looking to get into Google (non-tech) - I’ve got a couple years experience as a consultant at Amazon.
Any recommendations on roles to go for which take on a high number of new hires? Thanks in advance!
Rude RRK interviewer. Offcam, told me not to ask any clarifications. Asked RRK questions and followups all at once each time. Left with 1 min to spare not asking if I have any questions.
Last 2 questions I only got into 1 follow up. Sure my time management was not good but I wanted to answer the main question properly and throughly before getting into follow ups..
Thinking of emailing the recruiter and asking to redo the round with someone who actually knows how to interview.
Do recruiters at Google actually tell you the level you’re applying for or is it similar to Apple where you play the assumption game?
2 years of experience at BCG post-undergrad. Interviewed for the biz ops team and was told they thought I was a great fit for google, but just didn’t have enough tech experience at this time. I believe this was because I struggled in one of my case interviews. What other roles could I look at at google with my experience level?
Hey Googlers in PSO I’m in need of your advice. I’m likely going to get a verbal offer this week for an L4 position. What is a standard L4 PSO cloud salary? I’m afraid I lowballed myself when they initially asked for salary expectations. (And yes I have checked levels and Glassdoor and neither were great sources of information)
Are reference checks done post HC approval?
Now that all googlers are WFH through Q2 2021, how likely is it that we will be WFH through most/all 2021?
I have a phone interview coming up for SWE,
I’m a full time systems engineer and my work is no where related to coding.
I have been putting in double hours, studying DS and ALGO.
Any other recommendations that I should keep in mind to crack this interview. I’m all excited that a google recruiter got in touch with me, at the same time I’m really anxious and low on confidence.
Education: MS in CS,Google
So I’ve just proceeded in the interview process for the role as an account strategist for Google. The next step is to meet with the hiring manager.
Does anyone here have any experience and know what to expect? What should I focus on in preparation for the interview?
Thank you :)!
