Me too :( But today I got up and I’ve been sitting in a chair! Small win but I’m proud of me

I might be one of the few that has only worked out of bed. Even in school, would always do my homework in bed, college work in bed or on a comfy couch. So I guess anything but would just distract me now 😅

like

I only work from bed. Lying down is much more comfortable. At the office I eye the couches while working from my desk.

like

How do you do it? I want to be comfy but I just sat on the couch and my eyes almost immediately shut ☹️

Do you eat in bed as well?

Yes, i’m gross.

I started making my bed first thing in the morning. That ended working form bed real quick for me 😅

Hey folks, need some help with PF details.

Let's say a person join a company X and then switches to Y after few years. Again switches to company Z after few months. Now the thing is both the previous employers provided Pf but the new company Z which is still growing doesn't have a pf contribution since it is starting out in india. What would happen to existing PF accounts if not withdrawn , will it earn interest? What would i need to do as an employee? Any timelines to follow?

I went through two rounds of interviews for
a job that the posting stated $36.66 per
hour (FP&A Analyst)…the company
recruiter had told me in the initial call the
pay could be 32-36 because of the other
benefits. If I do get a job offer what range
should I try for? I was really hoping to get
around the 36-40 but now I feel like they
may try to offer lower than what was
posted. Also there was no range but the
average for this position is upper 70s-90k.
Thanks for any help!

I've been tasked with developing an M&A Integration playbook from scratch (I'm in industry and don't have the library of materials/templates you consultants have). Anyone know where to find a decent example, or resources online to help me build one? We will be bringing in consultants eventually to help review/validate what we put together. TIA!

Received an offer at 300k/year and a Google offer at 200k/year.
I wanted Google since I started the whole interview process, but I am now not sure given the salary difference.

The position at Google is more junior and the team is just being formed, which involves more risk. However, I like the team at the other company.

The difference in salary is really considerable to push me to rethink this. Is it worth it? Can you share your experiences of when you accepted a lower job offer and why?

Change my mind: the talk around things shifting to a 'new normal' is overblown. Society's collective conscience is too short-term to enact massive changes to things we are comfortable (e.g., global warming). Yes, it will take awhile for offices to open back up, flights to be full, etc., but within 1-2 years things willbe mostly back to what they are like now and this massive structural shift will have never materialized.
