Hi Fishers, I have accepted Walmart offer and my BGV has started 3 weeks ago. How do I check my BGV status? I will be joining in mid May. Also, I have been hiding one of the company where I had worked for 45 days and then absconded due to personal issues. Would it create any trouble? They had created my PF account though. Any help would be highly appreciated

Has anyone left PwC while they still had an outstanding Educational Support Program repayment agreement? What is the repayment process like? Am I required to pay back the amount in full the day I leave the firm or is there the ability to do a repayment agreement? I’m looking at new opportunities and would like to have my new firm take on the amount of the tuition agreement ($14,000) but don’t know how much that might limit my options.

Hi,
Thank you so much for your offer. I am very excited to join [insert firm name]. I am currently making $xxxxx and was hoping to have a base compensation of $xxxxx. If this isn't an option, could I get some sort of signing bonus?
Thank you,

Never say how much you are making. Very rookie. Just protest your value in a humble way and ask for a range of which the lowest is higher than what’s acceptable to you. Good luck
Yes I actually think they would agree with you. I’ve moved jobs twice and gotten 40% and 60% raises. One of the moves was a lateral between big 4s and i got a 90k raise. Hopefully as you gain more experience and talk to folks in different markets you’ll get a better feel for compensation world. It’s hush hush and people who get great deals don’t get Into numbers. A good example is when you are home grown you will get average raises. When you move to another company they are buying your skill set bc they need it and they will pay a premium. It may not reflect your current value but that’s the current price. Think of a PS5 on eBay when it was sold out. While the normal price was for example 400-500 it was going for 900-1200. Why? Bc someone was willing to pay a premium to get it. The market dictates your price, not your current value. That fluctuates with many conditions. There is so much more to this but just food for thought even though it’s not apples to apples. My 2nd move was even bigger just for reference.
Don’t share your salary. Put a premium on yourself. Research the market. Companies with greater revenue will afford higher salaries. Even if not higher revenue there is investment dollars allocated to attaining skills.
Good luck and hope this helped.
To OP...this is not something I would ask for in writing without for having a discussion. You're simply giving them time to think about why it should be less. Have a call with the deciding partner so that they can make a decision on the spot. They know exactly what they're willing to pay. Be prepared to justify why you should get what you want. Don't say you would like X. Say, I am asking for $$. Let them bring you down and be prepared to show why a higher number is warranted. Be firm. Don't give a range, you'll just get the lower end.
