I haven’t touched my 401k stock allocations in years. It’s performing well from what I can tell but I am a total rookie. It’s in 4 stocks at 25% a piece.
Is it worth paying fidelity their fee to auto invest for me? They are suggesting %60 domestic, 25 foreign and 15% bonds.
I would do it myself but no clue which ones specifically.

Hi! I just got an internship offer for beauty formulation for Amway! I was wondering if anyone had experience with this company before? I’m currently in the product formulation position for ~ $25/hour, paid housing, and additional benefits like dental and health care. Plus, they said I could get free/cheaper transportation if needed! I would love to get advice if anyone has worked here before or how good the benefits are since this is my first internship! I haven’t accepted it yet!

What would u do? 3 YOE HCOL city and I have 2 potential options:
1) move to a boutique healthcare strategy consulting firm in a similar role as I have now (client facing consulting role).. 120-130 base + 20% bonus
2) a product specialist role at Meta (FB). This told role product management, it’s analytics heavy. $107k base, 10% bonus, $30K stock.

At the end of the day, TC for both is similar. As far as exit opportunities I’m not sure what is better, so looking to get other people’s opinions.

Regarding the WSJ article.. Can anyone in PE explain why any pension fund would be interested in buying single family homes? Extremely illiquid, historically follows inflation.... Do they think Texas will go the way of CA? Ie/ zoning and artificial cost inflation due to supply constraints by the govt? It just seems to go against what is taught in economics as a sound investment... i guess CALPERS is desperate for yield given how upside down the state is

Currently accepted an internship at a firm for the winter and also just accepted a separate internship over the summer with a B4 firm. I’m seeing lots of posts about really bad losses. If you trade you’re going to lose money - hopefully not all the time, but many positions will be mistakes. But you need a process to find ideas and manage positions. Two books you should read are “The New Trading for a Livinng” and “The Laws of Trading.” Both look at psychology, process, and risk in different ways that can help you work out your own process. The next 18 months will be much harder than the last 18 - time to start learning.
