I interviewed for a job last Monday (Jan 5). The interviewer told me they needed someone starting Jan 19. He said if I was chosen I would receive an offer email as soon as the next day (Jan 6) and I had 48 hours to accept the offer and then get a drug test asap. A week went by and I never received any emails. Not an offer email, not a rejection email, in any of my folders. I can’t get in touch with the interviewer or HR of the company. I’ve left voicemail messages. Are they ghosting me?

HR is scheduling the interviews without checking time with me. One interview was scheduled and then it was rescheduled to a different time at last minute. I wasn't available at that time so I mailed the HR for a different slot. They again scheduled it for a later date without checking the time with me.

My natural instinct is to assume rejection if I have conflict with a partner or don’t think my feelings are reciprocated. I’ll try to bring it up with them, but I’ll say “if you want to end this feel free” so it doesn’t hurt me (and they can say what they really mean instead of sugarcoating). My personal opinion is to go for DI because its in my hometown, for KPMG i need to relocate. But many people are telling WLB was bad in DI. any suggestions..
